WASHINGTON, April 19 (UPI) — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the voluntary recall of specific lots of Strategy-brand horse feed and Layena-brand poultry feed.
The FDA said Purina Mills LLC of St. Louis initiated the recall of two lots of 50-pound bags of Strategy Professional Formula GX horse feed and one lot of Layena SunFresh Recipe Pellet poultry feed after metal fragments were discovered in a limited number of bags.
