NASA Awards Laboratory Service Contract

BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss., March 29 (UPI) — Officials at NASA’s Stennis Space Center near Bay St. Louis, Miss., said they have awarded a $26 million contract to A2 Research of Huntsville, Ala.

NASA said the company will provide technical laboratory services at the center, including laboratory analyses; maintenance of measurement standards and calibration and repair of instrumentation; and specialized technical, business and administrative systems and related operations.

The space agency said the contract is for one year with a one-year option and a three-year option.
