H-E-B French Onion Dip is Recalled

WASHINGTON, April 12 (UPI) — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of H-E-B french Onion Dip because of possible bacterial contamination.

The FDA said H-E-B of San Antonio initiated the recall of its french onion dip with code dates of “4/15/2010, “4/20/2010, “4/23/2010″ and “4/24/2010 in 8-, 16- and 24-ounce sizes.


The company said the recalled products, sold in Texas and Mexico, might be contaminated with salmonella.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product can return it for a refund or can contact the company for additional information at 210-938-8357.
