MIAMI, Oct. 5 (UPI) — Tropical Storm Grace was moving quickly across the Atlantic Ocean Monday and is not considered a threat to the United States, meteorologists said.
The National Hurricane Center in Miami said as of mid-morning Monday, Grace was about 575 miles southwest of Cork, Ireland, and about 590 miles northwest of Lisbon, Portugal. Forecasters said it was moving north-northeast at 31 mph with maximum sustained winds decreasing to 65 mph.
The Hurricane Center said Grace was likely to weaken Monday and should be absorbed by a low-pressure front on Tuesday.
