United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon points out China’s lack of care towards assuming it’s duty in helping advance a new climate framework. China needs to has to assume their part in the fight against climate change by instituting standards of sustainable living, efforts to lower emission rates, and look towards alternative sources of energy.
“Without China, there can be no success this year on a new global climate framework,” said Ban, referring to the UN climate summit to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, this December.
A good start for China would be to The Green Light Project, which would install energy savings lamps through out China, thus cutting down on power consumption and needs.
