This year we planted about 14,000 trees. The weather this year has been odd to say the least. Normally the weather in Costa Rica is pretty predictable but the rains started late and we never really got the beginning of the rainy season rains. This held up planting.

Not that this is a problem, because as long as you plant a couple of months before the dry season get started (which for us is sometime in January), you do just fine.

We have been having very good growth also. Prunning of the year old trees was just done and we are in the middle of cleaning around the young trees. The ground around the young trees has to be kept cleared otherwise the grasses will cover the young trees.
