I just joined this Forum last night. I can see that, once the people interested in Reforestation, in any way, actually discover this forum, they will have a great place to exchange ideas, and get valuable information.
I am a member on a Forestry related Forum, in the States, and that forum has developed into a family atmosphere. There is no harrassing and demeaning things posted there. I truly hope that the same thing can develop here.
The moderator of this forum has a well managed operation, and I am sure that the information that can be obtained here, will be first rate.
Good luck with this forum. Nice job setting it up. LumberDude

| I notice some changes going on around here. What's the deal with this ECOworld logo on the upper left. Some new partnership forming? It's looks like you're growing more global as time goes by.

Ah, you noticed! Yes, Ecoworld is hosting it for us now because they get a lot more traffic than we (though we do get a lot) and also so that the discussion about reforestation would include more than us.
I was planning on make an announcement, but I guess you beat me to it. :-)

Hi Fred and all. Fred we spoke (via email) last week. I'm Jay. I look forward to learning a lot through this forum. Unfortunately, I am only able to access the most recent posts from the right side of the page as I get errors when I try to access the forum itself. It appears to be a problem with the database connection. I hope it gets corrected so I can read more than the most recently active threads.

Nevermind, they must have been doing some maintenance at the server. Logging on the next morning, everything works fine here.

Jay,
You have discovered the secret to getting my time! - Write on the forum.
The reason is that then I can answer a question once and give it to many people.
So, ask away, create your own thread if you like.
Fred

Ah ha! You may regret that. j/k
It won't change my plans much either. I still want to see first hand the right way to do this so I can identify the bad fincas in my travels. It may change how much I bug you in person though.
Nos veremos en Noviembre.
