I would like to know if the production BIODIESEL from Jtropha Plant can be done as a small business enteprise.

In principal yes, you would however need to do a cost benefit in terms of the capital you will also require for expelling and refining Jatropha, if you can get a number of farmers together then maybe the cost fo refining becomes more interesting. There are a number of similar projects in India and elsewhere (Ghana for example). Would also suggest that if you are doing on a small scale you look at intercropping to supplement cash flows in the first few years...

Not for large commercial scale as far as our research shows, however on small-scale the Jatropha is not providing the yields you'd get on large scale so should eb worthwhile to look at it then, large scale needs mechanisation to harvest fruit etc, so then row spacing is utlisied, on small scale where you are typically manually harvesting nuts, could be worthwhile for intercrop
