Sorry, this is slightly off topic, but still related.
I am looking for funding to purchase a piece of land in Nicaragua (negotiations are already underway). The land is 1007 acres, it's a bargain price, and I don't want to miss it. I plan to construct EcoShell housing as a sustainable tourism project, as well as cultivating jatropha (small scale) and other crops (possibly coffee, beans) and vegetables. I'm interested in terrace agriculture techniques, solar energy, and basically sustainable projects in general.
The issue is that I'm quite young and I've just come across this property without much time to research my funding options, so I'm hoping to find a private investor/lender. I'm willing to pay a good (for you) interest rate on the loan, offer the titles to the land as a guarantee of payment, and consider other options or offers. I'd also be interested in securing further funding for project development if possible.
The price of the land is USD $57 900, and I need to put at least 50% down at the start.
