Electrical vehicles research is in its full swing now a days due to many of the following issues
1. Draining Oil reserves
2. Increase of Oil prices
3. Increase in pollution due to Automobiles & Thermal power stations ...
Electric vehicles came into existance to reduce these above problems but still this technology is not matured enough in drive range ,which is leading to search of alternative technologies.
Electric hybrid vehicle technology has emerged to solve this problem of driving range.
Hybrid ... means more the vehicle which uses two or more than two power sources.
Research is going on regarding plug-in-hybrid vehicles now a days
Hope this technology matures soon to entirely replace the convectional petrol/deisel vehicles.
